This is a shot of our kitchen. The big metal HCT letters on the wall stand for all of our last names, my son's, my boyfriend's, and mine. That red rocking chair that I loved so much was smashed to bits by wild marauding teenagers, sniff, sniff, so I'm on the lookout for another one. That big green plant is sitting on top of one of my favorite treasures, a victrola that works and that I use to play scratchy old '78s. They make me so happy and nostalgic. There's a sign hanging above the window that came from Thailand and I don't have the first clue as to what it says. For all I know it could say, "Buy Weed Here." The cats love those baskets on top of my armoire. I got that for my sixteenth birthday. A gift I really hated at the time considering the fact that all of my friends were having sweet sixteen parties while I got, A piece of furniture? But I love it now. It houses all of our DVDs.
This is a view of my kitchen and breakfast area from the parlor.
